The critically acclaimed drama series Day & Night (Dag & Nacht) has returned to Dutch screens for its highly anticipated third season. Following the success of previous seasons set in Obstetrics and Pediatrics, the new eight-part series shifts its focus to the Psychiatric ward, opening the doors to a department that often remains hidden from the spotlight.

About the season
In Season 3, we follow the dedicated healthcare workers committed to improving their patients' lives, even as they struggle with personal challenges of their own. The story begins on the final day of intern Lara (Aiko Beemsterboer), who is offered a permanent position she isn't sure she wants, and the first day of psychologist Lasse (Guy Clemens), who is immediately thrown into the deep end.
As the ward handles everything from voluntary admissions to acute psychoses, the series explores a poignant question: are the fears and emotions of the patients truly that different from those of their caregivers?

The series is led by showrunner and director Joram Lürsen, with co-direction by Toon Slembrouck. The scripts were penned by writers Esther Gerritsen and Jaap Peter Enderlé.
