David Verbeek's FULL CONTACT wins prizes at the Chicago International Film Festival
Feature film FULL CONTACT of director David Verbeek has won two prizes during the Chicago International Film Festival. An international jury led by Andrew Davis (The Fugitive, Collateral Damage, The Guardian) awarded the prize for Best Actrice to Lizzie Brocheré and the prize for Best Cinematography to Frank van den Eeden.
FULL CONTACT will be Verbeek’s sixth feature film and is a contemporary tale of a man trying to find a new purpose in his life after accidently bombing a school through a remotely operated drone plane. The project was also one of the fifteen projects selected for L’Atelier at the Film Festival Cannes 2011. With Gregoire Colin (LA VIE RÊVÉE DES ANGES, NENETTE & BONI), Slimane Dazi (ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE, UN PROPHÈTE) and upcoming talent Lizzie Brocheré (AMERICAN HORROR STORY).
FULL CONTACT is produced by Lemming Film in co-production with Nukleus Film (Croatia), Wild at Art and VPRO. International Sales of the project is in the hands of the French sales agent BAC Films, which will also take care of the French Release.
Dutch distributor September Films will release the film in cinemas in 2016.
