Can't u Hear Me Singing?
In Can't U Hear Me Singin' Director Walter Stokman portrays four Afro-American pop musicians in a search for their drives and ambitions.
The four tell us about their lives as black musicians and their struggles for success. Two of them, Ike Turner and Swamp Dogg, are well past their fame, but Rosie Ledet and Tragedy, the two younger musicians, are still looking for success.
In all the stories discrimination, violence and addiction play a role, the film shows us the role Afro-American culture plays in the United States.
